ಪಂಜಾಬ್‌ನ ತಾರ್ನ್ ತರನ್ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಅಸಲ್ ಉತ್ತರ್ ಗ್ರಾಮದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಗುಂಡಿನ ದಾಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಗುರ್ಸೇವಕ್ ಸಿಂಗ್ ಎಂಬವರು ಮೃತಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದು, ಹರಿಕೀರತ್ ಸಿಂಗ್ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಜನ್‌ಪ್ರೀತ್ ಸಿಂಗ್ ಗಂಭೀರವಾಗಿ ಗಾಯಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಥಾರ್ ಎಸ್‌ಯುವಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂದಿದ್ದ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಕಾರಿನಲ್ಲಿದ್ದವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಗುಂಡು ಹಾರಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎನ್ನಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಘಟನೆಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದಂತೆ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ತನಿಖೆ ಮುಂದುವರಿಸಿದ್ದು, ದಾಳಿಯ ಹಿಂದಿನ ನಿಖರ ಕಾರಣ ಇನ್ನೂ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟವಾಗಿಲ್ಲ.
ಪಂಜಾಬ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಡಹಗಲೇ ನಡೆದ ಗುಂಡಿನ ದಾಳಿ -
ಚಂಡೀಗಢ, ಅ. 28: ಪಂಜಾಬ್‌ನ ತಾರ್ನ್ ತರನ್ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಖೇಮಕರಣ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಅಸಲ್ ಉತ್ತರ್ ಗ್ರಾಮದ ಸಮೀಪ ಬುಧವಾರ (ಅಕ್ಟೋಬರ್‌ 28) ಮಧ್ಯಾಹ್ನ ನಡೆದ ಗುಂಡಿನ ದಾಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಓರ್ವ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ ಮೃತಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದು, ಇಬ್ಬರು ಗಂಭೀರವಾಗಿ ಗಾಯಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಜನನಿಬಿಡ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಈ ಘಟನೆಯ ದೃಶ್ಯ ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಅಂಗಡಿಯ ಸಿಸಿಟಿವಿ ಕ್ಯಾಮರಾದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೆರೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹರಿದಾಡುತ್ತಿವೆ. ಘಟನೆಯ ಕುರಿತು ಪೊಲೀಸರು ತನಿಖೆ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಮೃತರನ್ನು ಅಸಲ್ ಉತ್ತರ್ ಗ್ರಾಮದ ಗುರ್ಸೇವಕ್ ಸಿಂಗ್ ಎಂದು ಗುರುತಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಗಾಯಗೊಂಡಿರುವ ಹರಿಕೀರತ್ ಸಿಂಗ್ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಜನ್‌ಪ್ರೀತ್ ಸಿಂಗ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಭಿಖಿವಿಂಡ್‌ನ ಖಾಸಗಿ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಇಬ್ಬರ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯೂ ಗಂಭೀರವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ವರದಿಗಳು ತಿಳಿಸಿವೆ.
ಪಂಜಾಬ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಗುಂಡಿನ ದಾಳಿ:

According to police, the attack occurred around noon to early afternoon in or near the Main Bazaar of Khemkaran (some reports place it in Asal Uttar village or near a railway crossing/Mehandipur intersection in the border belt). Two men travelling in an SUV (described in several accounts as a Mahindra Thar) reportedly stepped out and opened fire on three people sitting in another car. All three were hit. Gursewak Singh, a resident of Asal village, later succumbed to his injuries in hospital. The two injured men, identified as Harkirat Singh and Sajan Singh, were rushed to a private hospital in Bhikhiwind, where they remain in critical condition. Preliminary investigation has identified the main accused as Manjit Singh alias Katta (a local commission agent and transporter) and, in some reports, his brother Sandeep Singh or an associate. Katta is said to have prior criminal cases. Some accounts state he was returning from a temple visit with his wife when he noticed a car following him; fearing it carried shooters sent by gangsters who had been threatening him, he allegedly opened fire. Police have noted that he had been provided security (including a police constable and private bouncers) due to earlier threats. Officials have said the claim is the accused’s version and that the motive—whether personal enmity, a dispute, or something else—is still under investigation. The accused are absconding, and teams have been formed to arrest them. The entire episode was captured on video by a local shopkeeper and has circulated widely, showing the vehicles and the firing in a public area during daytime. Senior police officers, including SSP Surinder Lamba, confirmed the casualties and said CCTV footage, the weapon used, and the sequence of events are being examined. Further investigation is underway.

ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನದಿಂದ ಮರಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಗ ಘಟನೆ?
ದಿ ಟ್ರಿಬ್ಯೂನ್ ವರದಿಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, ಖೇಮಕರಣ ನಿವಾಸಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಾರಿಗೆ ಉದ್ಯಮದಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಡಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಮಂಜಿತ್ ಸಿಂಗ್ ಕಟ್ಟಾ ಪತ್ನಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಘರಿಯಾಲಾದ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿ ಮನೆಗೆ ಮರಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಈ ವೇಳೆ ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಕಾರು ತಮ್ಮ ವಾಹನವನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಶಂಕಿಸಿದ್ದರು ಎನ್ನಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಮೆಹಂದಿಪುರ ಕ್ರಾಸಿಂಗ್ ಸಮೀಪ ಎರಡೂ ವಾಹನಗಳು ತಲುಪಿದಾಗ ಗುಂಡಿನ ದಾಳಿ ನಡೆದಿದೆ ಎಂದು ವರದಿಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಗುಂಡಿನ ದಾಳಿಗೆ ಒಳಗಾದವರ ಕಡೆಯವರು ಯಾವುದೇ ಪ್ರಚೋದನೆಯಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಗುಂಡು ಹಾರಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಆರೋಪಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
